Original Voyages

Hurtigruten's Original voyages connect Norway's local communities and have been the heart and soul of the coast since 1893. Sailing on an Original voyage means guests will experience their famous Coastal Express ‑ a route they founded over 130 years ago, loved for generations. The Coastal Express sails day and night to 34 diverse ports, from frontier Arctic cities to quiet fishing villages, spending between 10 minutes to several hours in each. Travel alongside local Norwegians as their ships bring passengers, cargo, and cars to different communities, and taste local ingredients from their Norway's Coastal Kitchen onboard food concept, sourced where they sail at 15 ports.

 

Signature Voyages

Signature voyages are their elevated front-row experiences to Norway's highlights, with premium all-inclusive food and drink and enhanced onboard guiding. Choose The Svalbard Line and sail the coast of Norway in summer or autumn to the remote Arctic archipelago of Svalbard and the last town before the North Pole. Or sail on The North Cape Line, a northern lights adventure between Oslo and the North Cape at the top of Europe, in autumn, winter or spring. Guests will visit one or two ports each day for several hours at a time.
